Metro, Lampung On May 18, 2024, the English Education Department of IAIN Metro Lampung proudly hosted a guest lecture on the theme “Teaching Indonesian as a Foreign Language (BIPA) in Three Countries: Vietnam, Turkey, and Belgium.” The event featured a distinguished speaker who shared her expertise and experiences in teaching Indonesian abroad, highlighting the growing interest in Indonesian language and culture worldwide.
The keynote speaker, Hersila Astari Pitaloka, a lecturer at UIN Malang and a dedicated BIPA instructor in Vietnam, provided a comprehensive overview of the challenges and opportunities in teaching Indonesian in different cultural contexts.
